Has in Store for Me.

Oh hey! I wrote this in the middle of Summer 2009:
So I’ve finally finished my 2008-2009 planner to its very last pages. It’s time to finally buy my own planner after all those years of being provided with one. I remember when we used to have planners as big as a regular 8&a half by 11inch notebook. Summer’s been pretty incredible lately: relaxing, carefree, hot, and just plain fun. I’ve been working out not as much as I’d like to, but when I’m not in the gym, I’m doing things that are pretty active! Such as swimming (beaches and pools), bike rides, night walks, Disneyland, and shopping counts too (walking around the mall is exercise, man!). I went to a party the other night and I’ve gotta say I’ve missed dancing. The music, the lights, the friends, and the work out you get from it all! I want to hit the driving range soon though, or play a simple non-competitive game on the green. Raging Waters or Wild Rivers and Universal Studios is also a must this summer. But anyways, nothing really juicy happening in my personal life at the moment. I wish I had crazy stories to tell or be excited about so phone calls wouldn’t be so bland, sorry. =/ WHOA, I miss crawfish.

HAHAHA Well, I still miss crawfish, but I guess a little bit of that paragraph's changed? (x &MY BAD. I didn't think college would provide me with a planner, but they do! (: SEE? -->

&Hey! I wrote this before I found that up there ^ :
Summer 2009, you're in a close race between Summer 2008. I think the only reason why I would say that last summer was better would be the fact that I went on vacation. I went out of town, out of Orange County, out of state. LeadAmerica's Career Conference for Medical and Healthcare for 10 days in San Francisco was an experience of a lifetime. Lake Havasu with my old best friends was another. But all in all, Summer 2009 was pretty legit. As I was uploading pictures for this blog, I realized that there were some things I did in the duration of the hot sun and humidity that I will never forget. There were also a couple "firsts" for me as well! ♥

&Here goes my continuation:
I spent a lot of time with practically everyone: family, friends, and even coworkers! Took too many pictures, laughed way too hard, and experienced some pretty “grown up” things I guess you can say. It’s really worth it being 18. Besides doing some pretty exciting things you could never do before and having your parents not know everything about your life (such as parental permission for things), and this might be the cheesiest thing you’ve ever heard, but you’re finally LEGAL. It’s not creeper status to date someone over the age limit! This issue was a nuisance in the past, so I just had to put it out there. (x I spent so much time with my Mommie this summer. It was pretty incredible because now that I’m a college kid, I don’t think I’m ever going to have as much time to hang out with her as much as I did this year. For the 92nd time in my blogspot existence, I love you Mommie.

I ♥ SCHOOL. (: &I’m not ashamed to admit it. The first week was a success! I’m taking English 100, Intro to Philosophy 100, Intro to Cultural Anthropology 120, Intro to African American Literature 140, and Modeling with Algebra 109. I feel like a smarty in Phil 100, a genius in Math 109, a newbie in Anth 120, an asian in Afrs 140, and a dumb in Engl 100. I really hate my English AP teacher in HS. -_- She dumbed me down so much senior year! It was chill, yes. It was fun, yes. But I didn’t write a decent essay all year! We had our first Large Blue Book Essay Test on Friday, and I can say my essay was completely mediocre and elementary. ): SO SAT’ MAN. I hope my professor likes me – I’m getting bad vibes. Other than her, I love all my other professors. (: I LOVE MATH. :D I’ve been laughing so hard in class, meeting a lot of new people and seeing a lot of old friends! I’m also thinking about rushing for a sorority: Chi Delta Theta, and/or a Lil’ Sis program for a fraternity: Theta Delta Beta or Mu Delta Theta or Zeta Phi Rho? I guess after Week of Welcome and after all the rush events have come and gone, I’ll know! Hopefully there are other organizations on campus I’ll get involved with as well! I know it’s going to get pretty challenging soon, but hopefully I’ll be ready when it does. I’m pretty caught up with all my reading &such so we’ll see! I can’t wait to see what my first semester has in store for me. (: I love the environment and the atmosphere of being on campus. In short: I ♥ CSULB.
